Today it’s International Women's Day, and we celebrate it here at LEMAN by paying tribute to all the strong women who make an effort for themselves and for their gender.
At LEMAN we take it very seriously to foster diversity and encourage and develop more female leaders in what is a traditionally male-dominated industry. Significant progress has already been achieved, and 40% of the members of our Board of Directors and 28% of the members of the management team are female. And we hope to achieve even further progress in the matter in the years to come.
We do not select or hire people based on their gender, but we can state with certainty that it is good for both business and atmosphere at work that we are as well mixed on the gender side as possible.
