Bad weather conditions in Europe

These days, transportation by rail and road in large parts og Mid and Southern Europe is affected by heavy rain and flooding. The weather issues have caused major disruptions to transportation as important traffic routes and infrastructure are flooding. 

Therefore, please expect possible delays on your shipments to and from the following areas:

• Austria.
• Belgium.
• France.
• Germany.
• Italy.
• Netherlands.
• Switzerland.

Lack of capacity

Since April, a large pressure on transportation throughout Germany has occurred. The capacity issues have now spread to most of Europe due to the constantly changing freight volumes caused by the Corona pandemic and local spring holidays. At the moment, there is a great shortage of both storage and transportation capacity throughout Europe, especially in Benelux and Germany. Unfortunately, we expect the situation to continue throughout the summer.

Please be aware of possible delays

We are monitoring the situation and doing everything we can to handle your shipments as quickly and seamlessly as possible. However, be aware that there may be delays on road transportation to and from several European destinations, and that transit times can be slightly longer than usual.
