New and innovative solution by truck
Due to grounded airplanes, congested ports, and cargo capacity problems, the air and sea freight market from China is challenged, resulting in higher prices and longer lead times. Therefore, LEMAN now introduces an attractive and flexible alternative transport solution; door-to-door truck delivery from China to Europe.

“COVID-19 is still affecting international ports and air traffic and is causing disruptions and delays. Combined with soaring prices on air cargo, this has enabled us to launch this brand new and innovative truck solution. Our customers and business partners can now get door-to-door deliveries from China to Europe in about two weeks. With this new solution, we have succeeded in reducing the transit time by roughly 50% compared to regular seafreight,” says Kenneth Jensen who is in charge of LEMAN’s new China truck solution.

• No central deliveries or cut off – pick-up directly at the consignor’s warehouse.

Multimodal transportation
Besides the new truck solution, it is possible to move larger quantities of personal protective equipment and other cargo from South East Asia via Dubai with a multimodal service combining air and sea services.
