Typhoon and floods in China cause supply chain disruptions

All Shanghai and Ningbo ports and airports are now fully operational again. However, delays are to be expected in the next 4-7 days. Subsequently, we expect all operations to return back to normal.  

The typhoon, In-Fa, is losing strength and is currently heading for South East Asia.

Sunday 25 July, a typhoon hit China’s eastern coast just days after deadly floods hit central China.

Rail and air traffic in eastern China were suspended but are currently being gradually restored. Shanghai ports were closed, but have resumed operations again.

The typhoon, In-Fa, is expected to track west in the coming days.

Expect delays

We are monitoring the situation and doing everything we can to handle your shipments to and from China as quickly and seamlessly as possible. However, the situation will result in delays in the time to come due to capacity issues. At the moment, we expect departure delays of up to 7-10 days.
